The American Institute on Political and Economic Systems (AIPES) is an academic program designed to explore the political, economic and cultural issues of the world. It is a unique educational environment with 100 students from more than 25 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the United States. Over 1500 alumni, of which 30 are Armenians, have attended AIPES since its founding in 1993. The Institute’s curriculum engages students in a thorough examination of fundamental political and economic concepts , using the American model as its focus. The course is divided into two components- government and economics. Students will receive 3 credit hours from Georgetown University upon successful completion of the AIPES.
