EGMD-2011 is the second students’ school on Economic Growth at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The first school took place in 2009 and attracted about 50 students from all over the world to attend three weekly courses on mathematical aspects for study of economic growth. EGMD-2011 offers the course for graduate/post- graduate students interested in treating the phenomenon of large-scale endogenous economic growth from the point of view of formal mathematics. The course consists of four lectures and discussions which will help the students to understand drivers of economic growth, and will train them to make large-scale decisions. EGMD-2011 language is English. If you apply for EGMD, you should have completed at least four years of academic studies in economics or in applied mathematics, or should undertake your PhD degree in one of these disciplines. Young scientists with the PhD degrees are welcome to apply as well. For more details, please check Educational Program (is updating now). The courses will be given in English. An official certificate of your language proficiency is not required, but you should be at the upper-intermediate level in English at least in order to comfortably follow the lectures and participate in the class discussion.
