The Cambridge Summer School, Cambridge UK
Situated in the heart of the city, the Cambridge Summer School benefits from classroom and common room facilities at CATS Cambridge and specialist fine art, photographic, video, textiles, ceramics and drama rehearsal studios at Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts. The courses in Cambridge are specially designed to offer a different approach to learning, whether to improve English, prepare for academic studies in English, or to pursue a creative passion. Learning a specialist interest in a creative and safe environment can activate vocabulary and language skills more effectively than purely classroom-centred teaching. Mixing with native English speakers in Art and Drama classes (where appropriate) can also offer an active and participative dimension to language learning.

Canterbury has a history that goes back over 2,000 years. Established in 1952, Stafford House School of English is located a short distance from the city centre and offers a wide range of facilities including modern classrooms and a spacious common room. Activities mainly include English classes, various social and leisure activities and also excursions to London, Brighton and Cambridge.

Hartpury College, Cheltenham, UK
Hartpury College, set in beautiful Cotswold countryside, is an outstanding provider of further and higher education. The College offers land-based sports, and related courses including Veterinary Nursing, Agriculture, Horse Management and Outdoor Sports Activities. Hartpury was established in 1948 as a small agricultural college but, after recent investment and expansion, it has been transformed into an impressive campus with over 2,500 full-time students during term time.

Bicton College lies just outside the village of East Budleigh, birthplace of Sir Walter Raleigh, about 5 kilometres from Budleigh Salterton and 15 kilometres from Exeter, the historic county town of Devon. The College has over 700 full-time students plus part-time and short-course students. The range of programmes includes Agriculture, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Animal Care, Horse Studies, Business Studies, Countryside Management, Floristry, Engineering, specialist Outdoor Leisure Studies and Sports Studies.

 University of Dundee, Dundee, UK
Dundee, the fourth largest city in Scotland, is situated on the northeast coast beside the River Tay and claims to be the nation’s sunniest city. The University of Dundee is one of the UK’s leading universities. There are now over 18,000 students and 3,000 staff. The campus is set in the city of Dundee and Stafford House Study Holidays’ students will be accommodated in the main campus area. The University is a five-minute walk from the train station, High Street shops, theatres and galleries.

St Margaret’s School, Edinburgh, UK
Edinburgh, capital of Scotland, has a glorious setting with unexpected views of the sea and hills wherever you happen to be, and a skyline dominated by the great rock on which the castle stands. A full programme is arranged to include the local sights in Edinburgh along with a varied evening programme. Students travelling through London may book a visit to the city in advance, with accommodation and optional sightseeing.

Felsted School, Felsted, UK
Felsted is situated in the heart of Dick Turpin Country, and close to the edge of Constable Country, in the centre of a picturesque North Essex village amid glorious open farmland.
Founded in 1564 by Lord Riche, a Lord Chancellor of England, Felsted School is a co-educational boarding and day school for 400 pupils. The school has a fine tradition and reputation for academic and sporting excellence and numbers Oliver Cromwell’s son among its past pupils.

Glasgow combines the energy and sophistication of a great international city with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Glasgow College of Nautical Studies is situated in the centre of Glasgow on the south bank of the River Clyde. Every year over 7,000 students attend courses at the College on a wide range of programmes. The courses are delivered in many other subject areas such as Child Care, Education, Beauty Therapy, Business and Electronics. The A full programme of social and leisure activities is arranged, including discos, quiz nights and talent contests.
 
London Brunel University, Uxbridge, UK

Uxbridge is an old market town on the River Colne. Today Uxbridge is a lively town with excellent access by underground to London. Brunel University is a modern campus set in landscaped grounds, with the River Pinn running through it. Brunel received its Charter conferring university status in July 1966, and has established itself as a leading university, especially in the fields of engineering and technology.

Imperial College London, London, UK
Established in 1907, Imperial College is one of the world’s leading institutions in the teaching and research of science, technology and medicine. Our course is based on the South Kensington site, one of London’s finest locations, close to many famous landmarks. This new centre represents a fourth London option for Study Holidays students.The Choice course is similar to the classic course but includes fewer excursions and is only available to groups looking for a less inclusive programme.
