The US ambassador attended the meeting of farmers that took place at the Agrarian university of Yerevan. When Vardan Oskanyan was trying to connect the effectiveness of the aid provided by the US, John Evans left the room with his interpreter. By doing this Mr. Evans wanted to prove that the process of the referendum was more important for Washington than the results.
