On November 10 during the meeting with Armenian Diaspora in Athens Robert Kocharyan announced that the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk group had petitioned the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to have a meeting in January. R. Kocharyan said: “The co-chairmen probably take into account the fact that there will be no elections in 2006 and we can work actively. I think they are right. We will try to be more active next year. I see that there is a good chance to develop the process. We have need to hurry. If there is any good chance for us, we will not miss it”.
