No man – no problem

This is the logical approach of the ruling period of dictator Stalin that our government uses to solve the civil problems in the country. Anyway, we can’t say anything else about this when we talk about the number of suicide acts increasing day by day, when under the cover of “state needs” they leave people without a home and there is no way any more but either to leave this country or to die.

Maybe among these appearances the case that a 67 year old lady got a heart attack because of being left outside doesn’t seem to be a very important thing, but anyway this case will not help solve the problems of the country.
Citizen of #22 house of Buzand Street, Lilia Ghazaryan was taken to the hospital named after “Saint Grigor Lousavorich” because of a heart attack. She left her apartment for two hours and when she came back she saw that her apartment didn’t exist any more. Though the authorized bodies had made a decision to ask this lady to leave her apartment by compensating her with a sum of 18.500 dollars, later they probably thought that there was no difference between paying her the money beforehand or demolishing her apartment later. At first they damaged the steps leading to her apartment on the second floor of the building without notifying her about that so that she culdn’t go up to her apartment. This lady was left outside in the streets, and she asked her friend to let her stay at their home at night, later she was taken to the hospital with heart attack. “My sister and I could hardly save our lives from the dictator rule of Stalin and we have no other relatives”, -said her sister Liarik Ghazaryan. Liarik Ghazaryan, her husband, her daughter and her grandchild live in a one-room apartment. “After Lilia was left out we decided that she could sleep at our friend’s, because there was no place in our apartment so she could live here until she could get the reimbursement. We have no other relatives to ask for help. We worry much, we don’t even have money to pay for the medical treatment. If they pay the compensation now we may do something”, -said Liarik crying. She also worried about where her sister was going to leave after getting her treatment, because only her daughter worked in their family and they were not able to take care of any expenses. Doctors say that the situation of Lilia is not so good and they don’t even let her relatives visit her. And we don’t know yet whether this lady that was strong enough to fight against the dictator Stalin’s system and survive, can survive now in our independent Armenia. Now there is only one apartment in this street that hasn’t been collapsed yet (#25, apt. 16). It is already four days that the citizens of this street don’t have water supply. There is also no telephone connection there. By violating the RA law the first instance and secondary courts have made a decision to make two of these citizens leave their apartments without giving them any compensation. “This apartment is my brother’s and my property after the death of my mother. After this apartment became our property (as of 15.02.2005) we got the right for this property in a duly way and made all payments and taxes (they have all these documents). But the cadastre didn’t give any documents for property to my brother and my aunt living with us, thus depriving themof their right for property”, -said Sedrak Baghdasaryan. The authorized bodies used this chance and applied to the court to make his brother and aunt leave this apartment without giving them any compensation. The court didn’t notify these persons about the proceedings against them and made a decision not to compensate them and make them leave their apartment. Moreover, the court made a decision to institute penalties on the Baghdasaryans (14.000 dram). The Baghdasaryans still struggle for their rights, but one day they may see their apartment collapsed and ruined too.
