Oskanyan partisan?

27/06/2012

Journalists asked the Director of Armenian National Security Service Gorik Hakobyan about the criminal case related to deputy from “Prosperous Armenia” Party Vardan Oskanyan and “Civilitas” foundation after the session of the Government. “Honest man must come and explain, cry, write, tell everybody that he is an honest man, everything is wrong and etc. But keeping silence as a partisan is unacceptable” said Gorik Hakobyan, not wishing to answer to other questions. ‘I don’t think that there is sense to add something else now” said the Director of NSS. By the way, Oskanyan yesterday told the journalists that the testimony scheduled at NSS on June 22 at 2:30 p.m. didn’t take place and was moved to the next week but the exact day is unknown. Oskanyan refused to answer other questions. Let’s note that yesterday the employees of the State Revenue Committee visited Civilitas and demanded the financial documents of the organization since the day of its establishment in May 2008. Besides, the members of Civilitas board were invited to NSS to testify. By the investigation department of Armenian National Security Service on May 25 was initiated a criminal case for legalizing profits in large amounts (money laundering). “Civilitas” foundation violating its statute and demands of acting legislation did not present report funds received for charitable contributions. Reminder: The criminal case was launched a day after the chairman of the PAP Gagik Tsarukayn stated it wasn’t going to join the ruling coalition with the RPA on May 24.
