Price of admiration

27/06/2012

“I admire Armenia’s economy,” the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) Secretary General Orsalia Kalantzopoulos said during business-forum organized in Yerevan yesterday. Armenia is the only state which managed to register fiscal indicators during the election period, she said adding the indicators are capable of resisting the world challenges. It would be spare to add that after the forum Mrs. Kalantzopoulos met with the high-rank officials of Armenia and was able to transmit her “admiration” to them as well. Behind this derision addressed to the society of Armenia and non-oligarchic citizens merely lies the fact that the world “collaborates” with the Armenian government. And this approach is the same for all sectors. Similar to international monitoring missions, which laud the “unprecedented” elections of Armenia and compare those to European elections, the “money providing” organizations do the same to the economy. Ultimately, all these structures make a part of one common system and function under the umbrella of a common policy. All these statements have prices, which the government will have to pay for the corrupt elections and for the creation of feudal economy. They will pay for this “admiration” at the expense of the Republic of Armenia.
