Let them go and suffer

Andranik Kocharyan, former deputy minister of defense and the head of the Center for Developing Democracy and Security commented on the fact of the legal proceedings launched by the national security services against former foreign minister Vardan Oskanyan in alleged money laundering and said, “What is happening to Vardan Oskanyan is also a result of the fact that for many years Oskanyan served for institutions of a government that did the same things to others, i.e. similar things such as serving for such services that committed illegal actions, falsified elections, as well as easing the real situation of March 1 among other groups. It doesn’t matter for me whether those persecutions are legal or illegal. I would like to see Vardan Oskanyan, who is a participant of the regime that has created this system, fighting for justice in the current environment of justice.”

A.Kocharyan said that he had always believed that Oskanyan and Robert Kocharyan were the same team. “I have always seen Robert Kocharyan being a part of the PA’s team. Those who don’t see this, do not need X-ray equipment to see that; one should be without the sense of reality not to see that. As a result of not seeing that reality two people that were one of the main responsible people for March 1, i.e. Vardan Oskanyan and Grigor Grigoryan, were included in that PA’s list. My question is what does Gagik Tsarukyan need G.Grigoryan for if Kocharyan is not with them? Believe me that Tsarukyan did not need them. Without having them in the team Tsarukyan would receive as many votes as many benevolence he has done so far for political purposes. He was told to do so by Robert Kocharyan for sure. Robert Kocharyan did it because the ANC believed that it was unacceptable for them to have relations with that person,” said A.Kocharyan indirectly answering also to the question of ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan.
