According to our information, the leader of the PAP Gagik Tsarukyan had a very hard time trying to persuade the president of the union of political scientists Hmayak Hovhannisyan to drop out from the PAP list. Let us remember that this came out about a week ago in the media as though President Serzh Sargsyan demanded that Hovhannisyan doesn’t go to parliament. According to our sources, fist Hovhannisyan didn’t agree to put down his mandate and for this reason he gave certain explanations. According to the same sources, Tsarukyan has become very angry at some point and for that he pointed a gun at Hovhannisyan’s face. Only after that, Hovhannisyan wrote a request to drop out from the party list. Let’s mention that Hovhannisyan didn’t deny this when being interviewed by journalists. He only said that he had given explanations and didn’t wish to add anything more. “One of you has asked me whether Sargsyan demanded that I resign. I don’t comment on rumors,” he said. And our newspaper wasn’t able to receive any information about Khachik Galstyan’s resignation, who’s the spokesman of Gagik Tsarukyan. The latter’s phone was switched off. By the way, there is also information that Sargsyan didn’t wish that Oskanyan become an MP, however Tsarukyan didn’t succeed in persuading Oskanyan to put down the mandate.
