“It is possible that some of the people included on the Heritage and ANC lists may refuse their mandates,” yesterday such an opinion was expressed by Edgar Vardanyan, an expert of the Armenian Center of Strategic and National Studies. “Certain splinter is possible,” he said an added that by analyzing the social networks and personal contacts we may assume that two of the parties might not accept their mandates. “The Heritage and the ANC may intend to continue their struggle through radical means and form a new movement,” he mentioned and added that there is certain democracy level within the opposition parties but during the decision-making process the leader of the party may have a substantial role. Nonetheless, according to Vardanyan, if the opposition parties don’t put down their mandates it will be a positive thing in terms of having plurality of representation in the parliament.
