The Gallup International Association is going to hold exit-poll in 131 polling stations out of the 1982 ones throughout Armenia on the parliamentary election day on May 6. The organization’s representative Milkana Nikolova announced about this decision yesterday. “We hope that people will honestly say who they voted for. Often we are asked whether this may not manipulate the results of elections. The thing is that this is a guarantee against manipulation of results of elections, so this is for sure,” said the expert and added that they would ask every fifth voter. According to Milkana Nikolova, social surveys and especially exit polls are based on previous elections, and they have concerns as this is the first time they are doing exit polls in Armenia, thus they don’t have local previous experience.
