“There are people, who represent the government before the lunch time, then they are the opposition,” Eduard Sharmazanov stated during an interview with “Azatutyun” radio station. To the question whether Sharmazanov meant PAP, he replied: “I mean everybody who tries to escape responsibility. One thing is for sure, there are no “incomplete” statuses in politics. One is either government or the opposition. There is no other option.” Shramazanov spoke about non-parliamentary opposition as well. According to him they are using double standards to criticize the government. “Non-parliamentary opposition, who, as they say, struggles against oligarchic regime, criticizes only part of the ruling coalition. It appears that in two marzes of Armenia life standards has improved, four ministries have done great work, they haven’t had any issues, but the rest of the country is still in a miserable condition.”
