Will the opposition parties demand the resignation of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan after the NA elections? Last week, during the ANC rally the leader of the Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan stated that in the event of the formation of a strong faction in the parliament they will immediately get to the aim of demanding Serzh Sargsyan’s impeachment. They will also demand the criminal punishment of Sargsyan. Will the other forces join the ANC in this initiative? During a conversation with our reporter a member of the Heritage faction Zaruhi Postanjyan said that they’d continue urging the impeachment of the incumbent government and press on the disclosure of the uninvestigated crimes and violations. The ARF refused to answer this question. Will the Prosperous Armenia, which has ambitions to gain 50+1 of the votes and make majority in the parliament, join this initiative or will it endorse the President till elections 2013? “I wouldn’t like to answer any assumptions regarding the future. At this point the Prosperous Armenia is busy with preparing for the parliamentary elections,” responded Gagik Tsarukyan’s spokesman Khachik Galstyan.
