There were also opinions that by adopting such law the government is giving a message that they are ready to apply brute force if needed and now it is legal. In answer to our question the prosecutor general Aghvan Hovsepyan said, “There may be different and contradicting opinions concerning any issue. However, no one, notwithstanding their sex and political viewpoints, can decide whether a law is constitutional or no. This is up to the Constitutional Court. Even the ancient thinkers said that there is no aw that can be good for everyone. Especially it is true when a law defines procedures. The law itself is politics and a tool for implementation of policy. If there are people that have reasonable doubts about this law, they can apply to the Constitutional Court.”
