Yesterday during a discussion the president of Free Democrats party Khachatur Kokobelyan said to journalists, “Unfortunately they speak of violations before elections and take measures after elections only. Opposition powers should find courage for joint struggle in majoritarian elections. If opposition powers provide 5-10 proxies in every precinct, they may change the outcome of elections.” Khachatur Kokobelyan said that his party’s proxies would be ready to support not only their party candidates, but the candidates of other opposition powers as well. Concerning the possibility to participate in elections jointly with the Heritage party Kokobelyan said that they would announce about their decision concerning cooperation prospects following the general meeting of the Free Democrats party on March 16. In answer to a question who would lead the lists in case of an alliance Kokobelyan said that he would see Raffi Hovhannisyan in the first place. “Personally I am ready to give the first place to Raffi Hovhannisyan and I think he is the politician that should lead the main list. I am saying it without any fake modesty and based on the current political situation,” said Kokobelyan.
