Who will be the RPA’s first lady?

27/02/2012

According to the new electoral code, in proportional lists of political parties every fifth place, not considering the first place, should be a woman. This means that the first woman in the list will be in the sixth place. According to our information, women are struggling for this sixth place in the RPA and the potential candidates are Hermine Naghdalyan, the head of the RPA’s women’s board, MP Karine Achemyan and Diaspora minister Hranoush Hakobyan. In answer to our question who will be the RPA’s first lady the spokesman of the party Edward Sharmazanov said, “The proportional list and issues concerning it have not been discussed in the party yet.”
