In January of this year the economic activity indicator was 4.4% compared to the same period of last year. This information was provided by the national statistics service in its report on macroeconomic indices published recently. According to the report, the most progressive sector was the industry as its production capacity grew by 21% in January. The second sector in the list is the service sector with 6.7% growth. In the other sectors the growth is almost at zero. The foreign trade circulation capacity is not impressive this year either. The import capacity has grown by 6.6%, but the export has not grown (0.4%). To remind, in January 2011 the export growth was 21.3%, and the import capacity had reduced by 1.7%.
