Participation in elections with separate lists

19/01/2012

The RPA wants to leave the votes and proportion of political representation of the PA the same in 2012 as it was in 2007. However, during the past five years the votes of the RPA, ARD and LS have been reduced due to the difficult social and economic situation in the country, but the PA could enlarge its constituency by spending a lot of money in the form of fertilizers for villagers, stipends for students, medical services, etc. people may ask where the leader of the PA has that money from. The RPA has such big money too because they are supported by separate oligarchs, who are very wealthy. The PA started campaigning just following the elections in 2007 by distributing aids and money and enlarging the constituency, while the RPA has not been doing anything during this period. In addition, during this period the government has been implementing a poor policy and ineffective administration, and the RPA is the one that is responsible for it.

Even more, the RPA representatives still continue to cheat themselves and people through ordering social surveys and publishing fake rating information. According to our information, following the general meeting of the RPA the head of the RPA Serzh Sargsyan and the head of the PA Gagik Tsarukyan will meet to decide the proportion of political powers in the future parliament. Naira Zohrabyan from the PA announced yesterday that the PA would participate in the elections with separate lists. Several hours after this announcement one of the media sources published information referring to a source from the RPA saying that the RPA had decided to reach total victory alone. “According to the source, professional surveys show that the political rating of the RPA is growing, while the rating of other powers is going down.” However the RPA has not given any official answer to this issue yet.

Probably the parties will get the answers to those questions during the general meetings of these parties in the near future. They will also be informed who and which of the incumbent MPs will be elected in the next parliament.

By the way, information has been published that toward the elections the RPA is activating the campaign not only by the party physically, but in electronic sources as well. The RPA’s website (www.hhk.am) will have a new design and will be more responsive in terms of providing information concerning the activities of the RPA. In fact, by saying new quality of work the RPA people understand the change of the design of their website.
