“The ANC needs to know the political affiliation of the PA as soon as possible. If the PA wants to participate in elections alone, it will be subjected to pressure on part of the RPA. We are starting to feel it now. Let it be like that. It can make the PA weaker. I mean a fight will start between the PA and RPA. Let them start as soon as possible,” said former prime- minister Hrant Bagratyan concerning the opposition leader Levon Ter- Petrosyan’s analysis of the situation with the PA party. According to him, by doing that the ANC would make the PA run in elections alone. “I am not sure but I think following the elections on May 6 the PA will come to the Freedom Square to join the struggle against violated elections and violations. I think this is the most realistic scenario as they will not have another chance,” said Hrant Bagratyan. According to him, the ANC does not even care about the fact that the PA is representing the interests of second president Robert Kocharyan in the political sector. “The situation is in a manner that those powers are supported by the second and incumbent presidents. There have been no refusals on part of the PA concerning the fact that their political party is supported by Kocharyan. Even if we assume that the PA is more or less independent power, even though according to our information it is not like that, those are the main three political powers in the arena,” said Bagratyan and added that the PA would be the first power wanting the PA have more votes.
