In answer to our question whether the RPA would have majority in the parliament after the upcoming elections the head of the football federation, RPA member MP Ruben Hayrapetyan said, “It’s not about thinking; I believe that the RPA will have majority for sure.” In answer to another question that the RPA would still have majority if the PA decided to join the ANC and whether it would not keep the RPA down he said, “One thing I am sure of is that Gagik Tsarukyan may endorse all political powers but Levon Ter-Petrosyan. This is my own opinion. Firstly he is my friend and coalition partner, and I know him as I work with him every day, secondly, he is such a smart man and likes his country so much that will never endorse Ter-Petrosyan. Why should he join Ter-Petrosyan if the latter’s loyalists are running away from him? He can go with everyone but Ter-Petrosyan. Whatever happens the RPA will win. People will not follow Ter-Petrosyan. He can only claim in vein that people are following him, but it is not like that. People will follow anyone but Ter-Petrosyan. It doesn’t matter how much people dislike the government, they will not vote for Ter-Petrosyan. I don’t mean that the RPA does not make mistakes because those who are doing real work, they always make mistakes. Those parties that don’t work do not do mistakes either. We have shortcomings too but it does not mean that we are so bad that will fail to have majority in the parliament. Due to our projects we will prove that we are the best and people should vote for the RPA.”
