According to sources close to the RPA in the governmental elite pretty serious and quite hidden processes are taking place, which are directly or indirectly linked to the events of the recent period. We mean President Serzh Sargsyan’s change of attitude to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. More concretely, the governmental elite is discussing the extreme activeness of the Prime Minister of the recent period and the steps undertaken by the latter. All this mildly said are not to the linking of the President. Recently, besides handing out RPA tickets to citizens and submitting the inter-party functions Tigran Sargsyan, has started to disclose apparent personal ambitions. According to our information, the President’s administration has recently found out that the rumors circulated by the media that T. Sargsyan wishes to lead the RPA list are not only circulated by the Prime Minister but also he personally played a role in it. According to the rumors in the governmental circles Serzh Sargsyan has become most angry about the fact that T. Sargsyan has become too serious about the duties he had been ascribed (that is the demonstrative image of the smart Prime Minister) and the latter had even thought of a bigger game. This was also filled with the talks of merging of smaller parties segregated from the NDU and the possibility of starting new “games,” which are also linked to the name of Tigran Sargsyan. Besides that, we have information that the President has become nervous about the “fake God worshipping” on part of the Prime Minister and the uniting of similar people next to him. And certain people link to this fact the quite harsh accusations addressed to the Prime Minister by Harutyun Arakelyan. Most probably, these are indeed not going to cause unfavorable consequences for Tigran Sargsyan (or at least not at this point), however by doing that S. Sargsyan is trying to make him understand that they can “sacrifice the Premier just the way they gave him birth.”
