With our competition Armenia occupies 92nd place among 142 states. This was mentioned in the World Competition Report of the World Economic Forum. Although compared to the previous year Armenia improved its position by 8 points but continues yielding to the rest of the countries of the region especially Azerbaijan. Armenia occupied the worst rank in the category of strengthening local competition (139th place), in the category of anti-monopoly policy (138th place) and in the category of dominating groups in the market (133rd place). Let’s add that according to the report that the most competitive country of the world is Switzerland, which is followed by Singapore, Sweden, Finland and U.S.
