Wikileaks has published a cable sent from the US Embassy in Armenia to the State Department on December 23, 2008. This letter writes that the head of the president’s administration Hovik Abrahamyan had won pre-term elections in his precinct and left from the president’s administration. According to many people, it is the first step on the way of making Abrahamyan speaker of the parliament, even though he has not confirmed that information. This step is a part of taking control over the government between Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan. However, it seems that from the prospective of the interests of America Serzh Sargsyan is more constructive than Kocharyan.
