According to the data of National Statistics Service of Georgia during January-July of the current year the volume of exportation in the country amounted to 1 billion 187 million USD. In the aspect of exportation the biggest partner of Georgia is Azerbaijan. The amount of exportation to Georgia is 188,7 million USD, which is 15,9% of the overall exportation volume of Georgia. The second place occupies Kazakhstan – 11,4%, which is followed by Turkey – 11,1%. Armenia occupies the fourth place on that list – 10,4%. By the way, there is a quite interesting contradiction in the matter of Georgia-Armenia exportation. So, according to the national data of Georgia as of January-July of this year exportation amounted to 123,8 million USD. But according to the Armenian NSS products worth 139,2 million USD were imported to Armenia from Georgia. So the Armenian NSS shows a figure, which is more by 15,4 million USD (12,4%). So what is the answer of this riddle? It is hard to give a definite answer but the logic tells that this difference can be explained by the evaluation of clearance costs. It means that the cost of the product exported from Georgia is estimated 12,4% more than the actual price.
