According to our information in the near future the former minister of foreign affairs Vardan Oskanyan is planning to establish an online television channel in the framework of his Civilitas Foundation. Moreover, the preparatory activities of the establishment of the TV channel have already started. A quite big editorial team has been formed and it will announce its launch in September. Yesterday, as a response to our reporter, the representatives of Foundation in fact didn’t deny this rumor but they refused to provide us any more details about the project. They only said that they will inform about everything in fall. According to certain information, the establishment of online television is one of the many steps taken by Oskanyan closer to upcoming elections. According to the same sources Oskanyan is implementing his activities in accordance with the consent of the former President Robert Kocharyan. And we mean not only political but also financial matters because the establishment of this television and the next steps following that require quite funds. A lot of money is currently being invested. Furthermore, according to our information the shows prepared by Civilitas will also be showed on TV channels H2 belonging to Samvel Mayrapetyan and Kenton belonging to Gagik Tsarukyan. By the way, yesterday there was already information that closer to the next election cycle Mayrapetyan is re-arming and re-equipping his TV channel. Let us also add that according to the rumors circulated in the political sector Oskanyan is planning to establish a new party on the platform of Civilitas. Of course different sources mention different dates for the establishment of this party. According to them if Oskanyan doesn’t establish his party before the parliamentary elections he will do so prior to presidential elections 2013 if of course no drastic changes take place in the political sector, such as the opposition and government agreeing to hold snap elections as a result of their dialog. Let us remember that closer to the previous presidential elections 2008 there were rumors that Kocharyan wishes to nominate Vardan Oskanyan as a presidential candidate on his own behalf.
