ANC member Gurgen Yeghiazaryan commented on the information concerning Armenian economy published by the Forbes, where the Armenian economy was classified among the 10 worst economies of the world (Armenia was the second worst economy in the list after Madagascar), and said that after this information the prime-minister of Armenia had to apologize and commit suicide. “I am recommending the prime-minister to commit suicide as the country he leads is in the 176th place. If he has honor and respect he must not go out of home; he must go to be lost somewhere… If he goes away we will get rid of him, as well as the republicans will get rid of their product,” said G. Yeghiazaryan. RPA representative Hamlet Harutyunyan, who was present at the press conference, said that he agreed that there were serious economic problems in Armenia and people did not live well, but he did not believe the information published by the Forbes. “I agree that we are living in wild capitalism conditions, but it doesn’t matter how prestigious the Forbes is, I do not trust the information about the economy of Armenia when I see their approach to the issue of Karabakh conflict,” said Harutyunyan.
