James Apaturay, NATO Special Representative for South Caucasus, has said in an interview given to Arminfo news agency answered a question asking whether he thought military solution of Karabakh conflict as announced by Azeri officials was possible and said, “NATO is committed to the vision that in case of military solution of Karabakh conflict there will be no winners. We believe that in case of military confrontation both parties will lose. First of all ordinary citizens will lose in both countries because they will lose economic opportunities in their countries. In addition, such scenario will fail all efforts made for this purpose during the past years. Accordingly, the diplomatic solution is the only way for us that can lead to balanced and mutually accepted solution.”
