The Armenian Church in the center of Moscow needs money for reconstruction again but the Armenian businessmen from Moscow refuse to help. Till now all construction works have been done due to the financial support of wealthy businessmen from Moscow but now they refuse to donate, as well as they refuse to invest in Armenia. The reason is not only the bad relations many of them have with Armenian officials but also the fact that many Armenian officials have bought very expensive properties abroad. In other words, the officials are asking the Diaspora Armenians to invest in Armenia, give donations and help but they are taking the money out of the country and buying expensive properties in other countries. According to our information, recently even high rank officials and representatives of the Church paid a visit to Moscow to convince the Armenian businessmen from Moscow to help the Church but they were refused.
