“I think ANC is making a mistake to demand early elections. That will be a defeat because the elections will be falsified and after that everybody will state that the elections were fair and the government will enforce its legitimacy,” yesterday told our reporter PhD of philosophy, Professor Lyudmila Harutyunyan by adding that NA now doesn’t work well because it is not legitimate. “That is the reason why I think that it would be wrong on part of ANC to demand early elections.” In the meantime she suggested that a roundtable should be established for negotiation purposes instead of the current format of the dialog. “Perhaps ANC will agree with the authorities to establish a roundtable the decisions of which will go to the executive for the implementation. Without this agreement we can go nowhere. We cannot conduct early elections at this point. We will have a worse parliament than we have now. It would be better to establish a better in parallel with the parliament… Let a roundtable be established, which will have an official function. Let us name this period transition because the president is transitioning from authoritarianism to democracy. During this period let them establish a negotiating roundtable in parallel with the parliament,” said Lyudmila Harutyunyan.
