Khachatur Sukiasyan, former MP and the founder of SIL concern, has instructed his lawyers to apply to the court for the purpose of changing the decision to institute legal proceedings against him. Lawyer Arthur Grigoryan has informed the radio Liberty that Sukisasyan is not satisfied with the fact that the special investigation department has cancelled the case against not for the lack of criminal component in the case but for the fact of not having sufficient proofs in the case. For your information, in February of this year the special investigation department made a decision to cancel the decision to institute legal proceedings against Sukiasyan resulted from the events of March 1. The lawyers of the Sukiasyans have applied to the general prosecutor’s office with the petition to sue the grounds of cancellation of the legal proceedings. However, the general prosecutor’s office has rejected this petition.
