According to our information, the police have started investigating the case of the former head of the tax operative investigation department Shahen Hovasapyan’s murder again. Shahen Hovasapyan was exploded in his car in 2006. The owners of Semur&Co company (Gurgen and Armen Virabyans) were arrested as they were suspected in the crime. However in several months they were set free because of absence of proofs and instead of them Haik Israyelyan was arrested. On the day of the murder the former president Robert Kocharyan said that the crime had to be discovered by all means, which has not happened so far. Last spring the case was suspended. It means that the National Security service, which was in charge of investigating the case, was waiting for new conditions of the case in order to continue the operative investigation works. According to our information, new conditions have been found connected with the case of Hovasapyan. According to this information, new noisy cases of crimes will be discovered.
