The Civil Aviation Board of Armenia does not know anything about the intention of the Turkish Airlines company to open an office in Armenia for the purpose of organizing the transportation of Armenians between Yerevan and Los-Angeles. Yesterday the Mediamax was told by the Civil Aviation Board spokesperson that they had not been informed about it. However, the head of the Turkish Airlines Hamdi Topchu has announced that they have already opened an office in Yerevan. “We are following the policy implemented by our authorities. There are no flights yet. However we have opened an office in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan”. He also said that he hoped the projects implemented by their company would contribute to recovering the friendly relations between the people of Armenia and Turkey.
