On December 18 Armenian “thief-in-law” Armen Harutyunyan (Armen Kanevskoy) passed away in Astrakhan. According to Interfax, he passed away in hospital because some of his important organs stopped working properly. Kanevskoy, aged 40, is famous in the criminal world with his close relations with the godfather of the Russian criminal world “Ded Hasan”. Even more, he was considered to be the right hand of Ded Hasan and his representative in Kuban and he was very powerful in the Russian criminal world. On May 18, 2010, he was convicted to 11 years of imprisonment of strong regime by the court of Novorossiysk. In June of this year he was taken to another prison in Astrakhan.
