Today marks opening of a new building for the first instance court in the city of Gyumri located in the region of Shirak. The opening is in the framework of the “juridical reforms program”. The old building was damaged during the earthquake in 1988. Ever since then the court of Gyumri and the economical court of that region have been located in lodges for about 17 years. Each judge had a camper. They had to do their job in those campers. The court will be located in this new building. They have spent $1.216,085 K USD for constructing this building. This money was provided by the loans of World Bank (90%) and by the RA government (10%).
