According to well-known sources, it is possible that the Ombudsman of Armenia Armen Harutyunyan may submit a pretty high post in the United Nations in the near future. We mean the top post of a UN envoy in the Central Asia. The residence is located in Bishkek. It is not excluded that Harutyunyan may submit this mission not in this particular post but in the framework of being appointed head of one of UN-funded projects. It means that Harutyunyan may coordinate one of UN’s projects in the meantime holding the post of one of the UN envoys in the Central Asia. According to our information the matter of Harutyunyan’s appointment is in the final stage and for this purpose he is in Geneva on these days. Harutyunyan himself refuted this information yesterday when speaking to our reporter. He mentioned that these rumors are far from reality.
