The tension that started at the border of Karabakh and Azerbaijan last week and still continues has resulted in certain processes, which are not transparent at all. These processes show how much and how the super-states want to benefit from his situation. During the recent days some of the Russian experts who mainly express the opinions of the Russian government commented on the incidents at the Karabakhi-Azeri border and made some hints about the allocation of Russian armed forces at the Karabakhi-Azeri border. Even though there are no messages from the US concerning this issue yet, this issue is very important for America too. It was not an accident that the Ambassador of Iran in Armenia organized a press-conference yesterday and announced that Iran would not allow to allocate international peacekeepers in the Karabakhi conflict zone. It is clear that in this case they mean the armed forces of NATO and the US. If these scenarios are possible, it is very interesting to pay attention to a recent announcement the Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan made in Germany, where he said that “there cannot be regional solutions and it is not possible to ignore Iran either.” It is not excluded that the issue of allocation of international peacekeeping forces in Karabakh has been discussed at the recent meeting of the presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia. And now Armenia needs Iran’s support concerning this issue too, especially now, when the irresponsible behavior of the international institutions during the past days shows how much they respect the peace.
