The dramatic events on the Azerbaijani-Karabakhi border last week deflected the attention of the public from a scandalous event, which implemented an organization representing the US in Istanbul. We mean the Woodrow Wilson foundation, which granted an award for the “civil service of Woodrow Wilson” to the foreign affairs minister of Ahmed Davutoghlu. This is no less than a demeaning behavior to the memory of Wilson. A Wilson award is granted to a Turk diplomat, who actively works for the restoration of pan-Turkism. Woodrow Wilson was one of the deniers of the past project. Let us remind the center that granted an award to the Turkish diplomat of the opinion of the venerable President of the US about the Turkish state. Let us only quote a small part from his 1919 speech. That is a speech, which is rarely mentioned in diplomacy because of its sincerity and straightforwardness. But with its contents is genius and prophetic. “We will not put down our sword until the nations mentioned by Turkey don’t gain their independence. The totalitarian government should be ousted from everywhere. Among the warring states Turkey is the most presumptuous vassal among others in the world. With its curtains, with its dirty and demeaning attitude it keeps trudging its existence on the European map. It is a stranger to the western civilization. The Armenian genocide proved that it is necessary to oust this ignorant crook group of people from the European continent. In the same position would appear the Jews if the latter with their agility didn’t choose the right position. The Armenians should receive what the history owes them. They have a better right to live than the Turks. They have a better talent to lead themselves. As of the origination of the Muslims in Russia it resembles the activity of the crook, who steals the valuable items of others. Sooner or later their sins will be judged and the subjects will be returned to their real owners…” Let us remember that this was stated back in 1919. Maybe we may say that the times have changed. Yes, the western, including the US civilizations has showed many inconsistent precedents. In this background we may see the consistent policy of Turkey and pan-Turkism and the recent best example of that is the reception of an award by Davutoghlu. “Our principles are unchanged… No one can blame us of changing our ideology.” This should be learning for the Americans. After Wilson they have changed their principles so many times. They have shut their eyes by allowing to mar the human history. And what does this so-called Wilson center represent? It is no secret that there are various non-governmental and other types of NGOs, which merely make money by paralyzing and demeaning the names of venerable people. That is the reason why it cooperates with the Turks. Unfortunately, the roots of this cynical deal, according to certain information, reach the highest levels. They say that among the most important guests of this ceremony were the loyalists of the current President of the US, his wife. Wilson was among those, who suffered from the non-principality and immorality of the American politics. Let this fund, which has the name of Wilson explain why the 38th President, this humane and benign person, after his term of presidency went underground and refused to be in politics any more. Why would the US Senate constantly deny the humanistic and positive initiatives of Wilson and the documents, which would have his honorable signature (including the mandate on Armenia)? If those were implemented the world wouldn’t have the current shape. At any rate immorality level wouldn’t be this high. The political algorithm is also clear, as a result of which the Turks are laughing at the justice principle of the history. Let us follow the events. Recently during his visit to the US the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited the tomb of Wilson and commemorated this great politician that is gradually being forgotten. This is the President that has given to the US the doctrine of beaming a world super state (which is currently marred because the humanistic elements are curtailed). Evidently, the Turks were very much hurt about the words of the Armenian President, who said that on the way of their historic fraudulence, an honorable and honest person like Wilson is behind them. The Turks in this ridiculously low level are trying to once again rape the ideals of history, justice and truth. By doing this they once again tease the amorality and the inability of logical thinking. The granting the foreign affairs of Turkey a Wilson award is the same thing to grant a Lincoln award to Fidel Castro or Hugo Chaves, or Trotski a Stalin award. And the most important thing is that this is done by an American center after Wilson on the threshold of the 90th anniversary of Sevr Treaty. This outstanding step is another episode of the American morality. The Turks continue to “spoil everybody,” who ever attempted to become ally with them. Only the examples of Bin Laden and Taliban movement, which the US bred themselves, are enough to outline this policy. Inevitably the same is happening in the case of Turkey. Not only will the US harvest from this fruit but also morality and justice, which have become so vulnerable in the world. The main supporter of this policy was the 38th President of the US.
