On October 24th, starting from 11:00 until 6 p.m., a wide forum took place at the hall of the Yerevan police station’s municipal department, where the police chief was also present. The results of the nine month operations and services for the year of 2005 were discussed with the department’s subdivisions.
The chief police of the RA informed everyone that the President of the RA was strict with the heads of the passport services. He also let everyone know that some workers will be subjected to check-ups. If there are any mistakes made during the referendum just like they were made during the district elections, then the people guilty will be fired and will not work as police officers. The issue concerning the mistakes of the district elections is under Vice-police officer Ararat Mahtesyan’s consideration. Much has been talked about following up on ethical values. The chief police of Yerevan and General Nerses Nazaryan made a speech about the garrison’s operations and services.
