French composer Michel Legrand criticized Turkey during his tour to Krasnodar city of Russia. Commenting on the attempts to normalize the relations between Armenia and Turkey he said, “What happened in 1915 is unbearable, and the fact that Turkey does not want to recognize the Genocide means that this country will never enter the EU. Now the two countries are developing relations; of course it is good. But it would be better if Turkey returned the occupied lands to Armenia. Even though I understand how difficult it is.” Michel Legrand also informed that the Turkish authorities had refused him to visit the village of his ancestors in the territory of incumbent Turkey.
