The investigation department of the National Security Services has finished the investigation of the case of robbery and attack at the house of Armen Avetisyan, former chief of the RA customs service, in October 2008. The investigation department has found the criminals who robbed Avetisyan’s house and did other crimes as well. The investigation department has involved ten accused persons in the case. One of the accused persons is former deputy chief of the Yerevan police administration office, police lieutenant colonel Armen Nikoghosyan, who is accused in robbing large property, organizing a group of criminals for robbery purposes, originating criminal cooperation, preparing murder and in a number of other crimes. The mentioned person is arrested now. The criminal case has been submitted to the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash communities for trial. The part of the criminal case, which concerns a person named R.Vihrabyan, has been separated from the case. The investigation body made a decision to accuse this person and he is searched by the police, now. This information was provided by the police administration office.
