On September 25 in the Sports and Musical Complex after K. Demirchyan the concert of the Russian pop star Alla Pugachyova will take place. This unprecedented show is taking place in the framework of the singer’s last concert cycle. Prior to that, however, the organizers of the show had several great occasions of getting astounded by the customs of Armenians. It is no news that the technical equipment of our concert halls doesn’t at all conform to decent standards. But the fact that our statesmen can ask free tickets from the organizers of the show is not only astounding but also shameful. Our sources, who are cooperating with the organizers of Pugachyova’s concert, inform that several days ago they received a phone call from the office of the Legal State party. The chairman of the Legal State party demanded tickets in the name of the secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Artur Baghdasaryan. The organizers were surprised and asked who Baghdasaryan was. The person calling from the Legal State office said, “How can you not know him. He is the chair of the Legal State party, the secretary of the Security Council of RA.” After this response the Russian organizer of the concert said, “So what? This is a business project so go get the tickets.” According to our information the organizers of Pugachyova’s concert, who are quite famous people in Russia, were so shocked by those calls that are trying to find out whether this is some kind of “custom” or “tradition” in Armenia or maybe there are people, who’d be willing to pay for tickets. After this the Armenian side of the organizers felt really ashamed instead of Baghdasaryan. Others have even derided that maybe they have to start fundraising to pay for the tickets of the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
