Not invited

Zaruhi Postanjyan, member of the NA Heritage faction and member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, has not been invited to take part in the session of the PACE monitoring commission to take place on September 9. Instead of her, member of ARF Armen Rustamyan was invited as a representative of the opposition. “It comes to prove one more time that the EU is using double standards because before the plenary session in June they had officially invited me, even though Armen Rustamyan was sitting there too,” said Zaruhi Postanjyan to our correspondent. In fact the role of the ARF, which has declared itself as an opposition power, is becoming clear. David Harutyunyan, who represents the government, will participate in the session of the Monitoring commission. “I think that as always Mr. Harutyunyan will praise the government and say that the requirements of the resolutions are being done in Armenia. However, I can’t say anything about Rustamyan,” said Z. Postanjyan.
