The “big show” of the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan relating to the seatbelts still serves its purpose. It has become one of the main topics of discussion. Under these circumstances the main question is whether it was one of the urgent issues of the country and why would Sargsyan decide to adopt such a law in the event when this function basically belongs to a low-rank police officer. Almost all the versions of the explanation of this decision match with the reality. Those relate to the possibility that maybe by doing this they are trying to fill the state budget or maybe it is done to distract the attention of the society. But this show is worth concrete money, approximately 10 million USD. It means that the government will be receiving 10 million USD from the World Bank for the coming 5 years for the Traffic Security Strategy. This means that the government is adding the foreign debt of the country for 10 more million dollars to realize this nonsense. Moreover, in the near future it is planned to create a traffic security national council, which will be led by the RA Prime Minister. In order to imagine how much this new council will cost the taxpayers it is enough to mention the salaries of at least the secretariat of the council, which will amount to 100 thousand dollars. It means that by this program the government may in the near future develop a plan of “clutch inspection” or monitor the “tire balance” of vehicles, which will put the society into a new phase of “nightmare.” By the way, after Tigran Sargyan became a Prime Minister the impression is that he is mainly in charge of advocating for the receipt of monetary units and seatbelts. In fact the main purpose of this whole story is to launder money. This will be several million dollars, which will be paid back by our children. So, please think every time before you buckle up.
