As of June 23 under the general pardon dated June 19, some 103 prisoners had been released from Armenian prisons by June 23. Sentence terms of another four inmates have been reduced, reports the spokesman for the Justice Ministry’s Department of Penitentiaries. Forty-seven prisoners were released from the Erebuny Penitentiary Institution as of June 24. The sentence term of another inmate has been reduced. Eighteen people were freed from the Sevan Prison, one from the Yerevan-Kentron, twenty-three from the Kosh and one from the Hrazdan. According to that 35 people were released from Noubarashen penitentiary, 5 people from Artik, the punishment of two people was cut, 12 people were released from Vanadzor penitentiary, 5 people from Goris prison, the punishment of one was decreased, 7 people were released from the hospital of prisoners, 10 people were released from Abovyan prison and seven people were released from Meghri penitentiary.
