During yesterday’s extraordinary session of the Central Electoral Commission a decision was made to register Vachagan Khurshudyan from the Prosperous Armenia party proportional electoral list as deputy of the National Assembly. The reason of replacing the MP from the PA is the fact that recently the head of the NA commission on Euro integration affairs Avet Adonts was appointed Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Belgium and he had to drop his mandate. By the way, yesterday Naira Zohrabyan from the PA, who was the deputy head of the standing commission on education, culture and youth affairs of the parliament, was elected head of the commission on Euro integration affairs. ARF representative Hrayr Karapetyan was elected head of the standing commission on national security and internal affairs. This position has been empty since the resignation of ARF member Artur Aghabekyan.
