No crucial changes expected

“There won’t be crucial decisions during the upcoming meeting of the Armenian and Azeri presidents,” said political scientist Stepan Grigoryan and added, “However I think that it is positive that the Azeri party says that during Robert Kocharyan’s tenure the negotiations were in a better context.” He believes that this time Azerbaijan will say that there has been improvement too but again will accuse Armenia in a non-constructive approach. Concerning the interests of the big countries of the world in the settlement of the conflict he says that the policies of the US and Russia to this issue are different. “The US and Euro Union are for quick settlement of the conflict because our region is a very important alternative for them,” said Grigoryan and admitted that Russia is not interested in it.
