“The Kremlin office believes that the upcoming meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the framework of the economic forum in Saint Petersburg is very important,” announced the RF president’s spokesperson Natalya Timakova yesterday. “The fact of the presidents’ meeting itself is important because it means that the process launched by the president upon execution of the resolution in Moscow continues,” said Timakova concerning the possible changes in the issue of Karabakh conflict settlement. “The visit of the presidents to Saint-Petersburg for the purpose of participating in the forum is an important fact. It gives an opportunity to meet and discuss the current situation again. The important thing is the fact that the dialogue continues and both of the parties are ready to go on with it and accept the intermediary role of Russia in this issue,” said Timakova.
