“We find this issue (Karabakh conflict) can be settled based on the principles of territorial integrity, self-determination of nations and exclusion of power application. We concluded the year of 2008 with the document of the OSCE foreign ministers’ summit, where these three principles are considered as the grounds of settlement. These are the basic principles for the co-chairs of OSCE MG looking into the conflict settlement. When you hear about the principles of Madrid in media, this is the document based on the same three principles, which serves a preliminary ground for the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” said the president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan during a meeting with 30 politicians and young people from 15 countries several days ago.
