"We are very persistent about the solution of the issues of our country. I feel obligated to announce that Armenia’s stand in this issue is invariable. In no case can Karabakh be presented to Azerbaijan," Serzh Sargsyan announced during a meeting with Iranian Armenians. Azerbaijan’s claims towards Artsakh have no legal, historical or moral grounds. Nagorno Karabakh cannot enter Azerbaijan’s territory. Azerbaijan exhausted its creditworthiness long ago. Serzh Sargsyan also referred to Armenian-Turkish relations. "Sometimes assumptions and forecasts or wishful thinking are presented as facts. The reality is as follows: we are ready to enter into relations with Turkey without any preconditions. So far Turkey has been unprepared for it. Major requisites seem to be creating for the outcome of this inadmissible situation when the neighboring countries haven’t even established diplomatic relations. But I would like to reiterate that establishing relations with Turkey doesn’t mean disputing the Armenian Genocide." With regard to the global financial-economic crisis, Serzh Sargsyan said: "Obviously, neither Armenia nor Iran is guilty of the crisis but the aftereffects are felt in both countries. Our aim is to minimize them so that our country and people will be able to surmount the crisis with minimum losses. We have already taken efforts to overcome the ordeal without major losses.”
